Simen is the CIO at Finanz Butik, responsible for investment activities of Finanz Butik. Simen started his career as an investment banker in London, responsible for selling and executing securities and derivatives transactions totaling billions of dollars per annum for a decade. Simen was repeatedly given tailor-made opportunities to create and manage client franchises by such notable banks as Barclays, UniCredit, and State Street.  In 2019 Simen relocated to Miami and co-Founded SyndiGate Capital, a real estate capital markets firm focused on raising equity capital in the middle market. 

Prior to his career in finance, Simen fulfilled his national duty in the Norwegian Armed Services, where he earned the rank of Corporal, Infantry Squad Leader. He graduated with Honors from the University of Edinburgh in 2009 with a Masters's degree in Economics and Business, recently adding an executive course at Harvard Business School in alternative investments. Simen has previously held the series 7 and series 63 exams, as well as similar accreditation in the UK and Europe.
